I have to admit that going to college is a lot harder than I ever thought. It was my parents that decided they wanted me to go initially because they said it would give me a better opportunity. Here I am in my second year of college at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and I am not sure that what they told me was true.I hate being a broke college student because I never get to go anywhere. I have to spend most of my time between work and school which seems that there will never be an end. When I was at home living with my parents I could go out to a concert every now and then.My parents heard me complaining about it one day, and they decided that since I had done pretty well in college so far, they would buy me an IPOD. I wanted one of the fancy ones with a TOUCH screen so they let me pick it out. I can say that it is true that you sometimes don’t appreciate something until it is gone. I was studying with a group of my friends the other day after I had taken a break from class. As my friends came in I had my IPOD sitting on the desk and unfortunately a glass of water. And you guessed what happened already…a friend put his books on the desk, knocked the water over and it spilled on my IPOD.I couldn’t believe the luck! I am not a student who has the money to just go out and buy another one and my friend would not take responsibility for what he did. In his mind I shouldn’t have had the IPOD on the desk. How rude can you get! A few other friends said I could send my IPOD to an IPOD repair service online. I fretted over this and set it out inside the desk because I was pretty upset and not sure it could be repaired. Before sending it in I decided to let it dry out first. It didn’t get really soaked but the charger wouldn’t recognize it at all. I went onto the Internet and typed in repair ipod and found several IPHONE repair places that did it. I sent it off in the way they told me to do and it was surprisingly fast when I got it by return mail. This company really knew what they were doing and the IPOD repair didn’t cost very much at all.
