It definitely can be difficult to get motivated when you are trying to start a new workout program, and I was having a problem staying on track, until I downloaded an upbeat playlist to my iPod to listen to while I worked out. I seriously had tried everything to stay motivated in my workout, like hiking with my dog, running intervals, or doing different activities, but I was beginning to think that I just wasn’t a work out person.
However, I did want to get in shape for my health and also to look good in my clothes, but I was at the end of my rope. Finally, I read this blog that was talking about using music to motivate you when you work out, and that it was proven to work. I have always listened to music when I worked out, but I never took the time to put some work into my playlist so that it was completely motivating for me. I figure that this could be my last resort if I wanted to stay in shape, so I got onto iTunes and found a bunch of upbeat music that I really enjoyed. This was exactly what I was looking for to help me stay on track and enjoy my work outs once again!
